Happy Leap Year month!
This is the month the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! It holds much excitement, promise and joy for you. We have an extra day on the calendar this Leap Year so why not take advantage of it, make the most of it. It’s an every four year opportunity, an extra day, to gain more ground toward our divine destiny in God. It could be marked with your
greatest leaps of faith and manifestation of God’s glory!
How? By proclaiming and prophesying straight from the Breath of God in Isaiah 35:3-7a, “Encourage the exhausted, and
strengthen the feeble. Say to those with anxious heart, ‘Take courage, fear not. Behold your God will come with vengeance; the recompense of God will come, but He will save you.’ Then the
eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb will
shout for joy. For the waters will break forth in the wilderness and streams in the Arabah. And
the scorched land will become a pool.”
That sounds like a whole lot of God’s power reigning down on His people! The hearts of the discouraged will be lifted. There will be vindication against our enemies. There will be healing of blind eyes and deaf ears – physically and spiritually. The lame will leap up on their feet. Those who have not known how to love or praise the Lord will have their tongues quickened to do so by the power of the Holy Spirit. Refreshing waters will sweep over many souls and ‘desert-like’ trials will be vanquished. Wilderness experiences will gush forth with Living Water from holy, powerful wells of the Living God.
How’s that for a leap year day?!
That day or evening could be well spent in advancing your walk with God. Turn off the TV, read the Word, pray in the Spirit, prophesy, decree, proclaim the promises of God. Go to a prayer meeting or praise and worship service. (See Annc.) Perhaps you could visit a shut-in by taking Holy Communion to them. Call someone who needs encouragement and pray for them.
But don’t let this opportunity for advancement in the kingdom of God pass by. Pray the prophecy from Isaiah and watch your world change. Start leaping – for joy!

THE DEEP SUBCONCIOUS
I believe 2008 will be a year of deep cleansing of our souls. The Lord purposes to go as deep into our hearts as we’ll allow Him. Psalm 42:7 declares that ‘deep calls to deep.’ May this be the year of deep impact! May our intimacy with God take quantum leaps into realms of God’s glorious Presence and power. May we begin to know what victory looks like within and without.
How many of you have had thoughts pop into your mind and you’ve said to yourself, “Where in the world did that come from?!” Well, if it was a bad thing that’s not too hard to figure out. The enemy of our souls is out to destroy us from the depths of our being to the outward behaviors of the flesh. “But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived my beloved brethren.” (James 1:14-16)
Let us not be deceived. Lust can refer to more than sexual temptations. It may involve envying someone else’s things or their stature in life, their prominent name. It may be the opposite, where one may be ‘lording it’ over someone of lesser means. There may be jealousy or a desire for power and recognition, etc. A religious spirit or false humility could be imbedded deep within. Lust can take many deceitful forms. Therefore, we must realize if the enemy can toy with our thoughts, he can gain access to destroy our souls. We need to invite the Holy Spirit into our subconscious mind to see what unrighteousness may be lurking in that private place. The enemy is looking for that hidden Pharisee yeast that he can build on to destroy us from within. “And Jesus said to them, ‘Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.’”(Matt. 16:6)
Only Him
Don’t think you can accomplish this deep cleaning on your own. It will take a bigger power to ‘clean our clocks!’ We may think too highly of ourselves and not be able to look very far into the depths of our souls to see what unrighteousness may be on pause waiting to manifest. We need the Lord. We need the power of His Blood to go deep inside and dig out the junk. We need a divine Blood transfusion that will flow throughout our entire being cleansing us anew and afresh. We need a fresh commitment of total surrender to His will and to His ways. For most certainly His ways and His thoughts are higher than ours. (Is. 55:8-9)
I’ve been sensing lately some of God’s people are so weak, so powerless, never knowing many victories in their lives because they have blocked spiritual arteries. They’re depressed, oppressed, anxious worriers, doubters, criticizers, with a host of other discolored thinking patterns. There are things deep within the subconscious mind that need to be cleansed, purified and healed. We can ‘clean up’ pretty well on the outside. We put on our Sunday best and head out the door lookin’ good! But it’s the deep, hidden things of the heart or mind we may not even be aware of that could be the biggest hindrance to our leaping further into our divine destiny. We’ve been blessed with a great prescription in I Corinthians 2:16 if we’ll just take it every day! “But we have the mind of Christ.” Wow! Just think of it. If we reside with Christ and He with us, we can gain access into His pure, holy thoughts! We are transformed into creatures of holiness for He has told us to be holy as He is holy. (Lev. 11:45) Every deep, subconscious thought is then brought into subjection. (2 Cor. 10:5)
Dreams
One area of the subconscious mind is our dreams. We’ve all experienced nightmares. They can be terrifying, to say the least. Therefore, I can’t stress enough that I believe it’s time the Body of Christ pray over these hidden areas of our lives. We don’t usually think in terms of our subconscious mind as cause for prayer. But let me alert you - we must begin to do so now more than ever! The wretched enemy is pulling out all the stops, leaving no stones unturned. This couldn’t be more evident than in Genesis 40 where we see two men of whom Joseph interpreted their dreams. One man was put to death, the other was restored! Are you being defeated or restored in your life? Are you regressing or progressing? It’s time to pray for holy dreams!
Let us understand that Satan uses anything and everything to thwart our epic leaps into God’s Shekinah glory of power, authority, signs, wonders, miracles and volcanic victories in our lives. We need to be alert and stand against these things that we may be the fearless, victorious warriors of God we’re meant to be!
Divine surgery
This is the season for divine surgery that we may know complete health in mind, body and soul. We don’t often attribute the healing stripes of Jesus to the healing of emotions and thoughts. But it’s His desire to do so. This is the year to see our ‘whole man’ restored! Let us come under the care of our Divine Physician, Dr. Jesus. We must give Him permission to enter the deepest part of our subconscious mind. Give up control and let Him have at it! Hebrews 4:12 is a good place to start our spiritual surgery. “For the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
The Holy Spirit invites us to enter holy gates of celestial communication with Him. This is not a pipe dream! This is the reality of a totally surrendered heart. From that intimate place in Him, He will purify us from within and from without. We can never be the same again!
HOLY COMMUNION SEMINAR
REPORT
On January 12th, 2008, the day of the seminar, I was driving to our designated place and was elated to see the morning sun as a huge, splendorous ball of fire! It was so beautiful! I thought to myself, “This is going to be a great day! Thank you Lord!”
A clear word I keep hearing from Him is that Holy Communion is going to be taking on a new prominence and power in the coming days. This is because we will need to know our Lord in the deepest kind of intimacy in order to survive the coming darkness. This act of divine communication with Him will equip us to stand our ground when everything else is crumbling around us. One drop of His precious blood is a weapon of mass destruction against our foes.
If there was one thing I tried to communicate during the seminar was that the Lord never meant this to be a formal tradition done by rote. He designed it to be an encounter with Him beyond human calculations. Communion is the deepest intimacy with God known to mankind. Not even the angels can know Him in this way! They must look on and marvel!
There is a transference of the miraculous that occurs in Communion. You enter a much higher realm of power and authority for your life! Do you desire this?

Prophecy
The night before the Seminar, I was with the Lord in Holy Communion and He began to give me a word of prophecy. It’s filled with great expectancy and hope!
“I will come to you as milk and honey.”
I replied, “I don’t understand, Lord.”
“Ahhh, but you do! I promise to take you into the Promised Land of milk and honey. Giants shall be slain on this day. Because you seek Me you will find Me. I am never late with My promises. I am always on time! This is your appointed time to walk into your Promised Land! Your wildest dreams are about to come true. I am captivated by your love for Me. Thus, I will capture your enemies.
This is the hour you have looked for. It is here! I am here! I AM is here. You shall indeed suck honey from a rock. Your hard place is about to break open with My heavenly promises of milk and honey in your Promised Land. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord! I am coming through! Make way for Me, I am coming through your midst! Stand still and see this thing which I am about to do. You have pleased Me. I will please you! Come into the Promised Land!”
This aligns itself prophetically with God’s Word: Ex. 3:8; 14:13; Judges 14:8-9; I Sam. 14:29; 2 Chron. 20; Song of Songs 4:11. Therefore let us align ourselves with this ‘word’ and pray the prophecy! Pray it into reality! Do not let this kairos time pass you by! Use the above scriptures, if need be, for a Bible Study or a Prayer Meeting. Be pregnant with expectancy that as we bow before our magnificent Lord with a surrendered heart, He will manifest these promises! Glory!
I was not aware of it at the time, but almost simultaneously as the Lord was imparting this powerful word of prophecy to me, it was already being fulfilled! It’s been released, dear people! Someone shared with me an unbelievable answer to prayer which I’m not at liberty to share at this time. But suffice it to say these are the days of Hallelujahs as the Lord begins to take our breath away with great signs, wonders and miracles!
Likewise, a few days after this Seminar, a couple shared about their kids who are YWAM students in Jamaica. They were on an outreach in China when their daughter-in-law became ill. Honey was recommended as an antidote. Amazingly, a complete stranger, a little Chinese woman who could not speak English, came up and gave them a big jar of honey! Why are we surprised when God fulfills His own declarations?! May the holy, reverential fear of the Lord fall upon us!
Conclusion and testimonies
Our intimate time of Holy Communion at the end of the Seminar brought different experiences for each one. In fact, every time we encounter the Lord in this deep way, we will glean more revelation, insight and understanding. It simply cannot be otherwise. For many, this was a fresh and vibrant encounter with their Savior in a depth they’d not known before.
As we were concluding, it seemed no one wanted to leave. It was as if the Lord Himself had entered the room and taken our breath away! Everyone sat still…pondering, listening, soaking in the Lord’s Presence. Then different ones, with tears in their eyes, began to come up and give their testimonies:
“I was aware I was a partaker of His divine nature, because I know that flesh in the Word can also mean the carnality of man, so I figured His flesh was His divinity. So I partook of His divinity. And I’m not a drinker of wine, I’ve only tasted it once before, so I took it in sips. And it tasted bitter. I was aware of the bitter cup that He took for me… and the next sip didn’t taste quite as bitter. But I really thought of His blood flowing into my blood, and having His DNA.”
“When I held the bread and Christ’s Body in my hand, I held it close to my heart. It was amazing because I felt almost like I could feel His heartbeat. Thank you, Jesus. And another thing, when the song was playing and they were singing Alleluia, I saw throngs of people singing Alleluia to our King. There were throngs of people as far as I could see. And I just praise His Name. Thank you Jesus.”
“When you said Jesus uses everybody and that they have a destiny for something... I was addicted to drugs for almost 10-15 years. I went to prison for awhile and that’s where I found Him. I believe if it took me to go to prison to get sober and find Him then that’s what it was and today I believe my destiny is that I can come out here and show people – it does work! I got a sponsor the other day and her name is Faith! God says I will never leave you or forsake you. I went out to a restaurant the other day and there was a card there that said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Now I know that no matter where you go, He is there. Today I don’t have that temptation because He took that away from me. And today when I was taking Communion, I don’t know why, but I thought of my stepdad. He was a very evil man. And I forgave Him today. I haven’t talked to him or seen him in years. I forgave Him because, hopefully, someday he will find Jesus too.”
Oh the mystery of it!
“I was just reminded again of the mystery of Christ, the depth that He is. There is an element to this that I know reaches beyond my emotions and sensitivities and goes beyond my existence. It’s a profound place. There was just again that reminder of the Cross and its mystery.”
“I’m also living proof that God does miracles because I had very bad growing up years and I used meth and amphetamines for 22 years. I checked into a treatment center and I found the Lord there. We have to look for Him, because He’s always with us, you know. Keep relying on Him because it does work. It just gets better every day!”
“I was so violently ill when I got here this morning, that’s why I had to step out. You know that was a satanic attack trying to come against me and take me out. He’s going to do all that He can to take out those who are willing to step out and do the work of the Lord, and it’s going to take Holy Communion times to protect us. And as we were taking Communion, God told me to go on a silent hermitage. But I am not a silent person! God is saying you’re going to need these quiet times and you’re going to need My Presence more than ever. I really appreciate this Communion time to show me that I need to stay centered and focused. “
“As I was taking the wine…I often find in me, I’m inadequate. In the days that come, we’ll experience persecution. Sometimes I wonder what will keep me…keep me from running away. I thought, “What if Jesus ran away? What if He’d run away in the Garden and He said, ‘No, I don’t want to do this.’” He had that choice. What the Lord showed me was the bread He broke, prepared Him to go to the Garden and that gave Him the grace to go to the Cross. And so we will find strength. In John 6 the multitudes turned away, but the disciples said, “To whom shall we go?” But at the Cross they all ran away. If left to ourselves we will turn away because that’s our nature. But I believe Jesus imparts strength to us because He is in us.”
“A song came to me while taking Communion. The song goes something about… where God says, ‘I created the earth with a whisper, but I’m preparing to shout!’ I feel He’s saying, ‘I’m looking for someone to shout with Me, with My Name in their mouth. With My Name in their mouth, the captives will be set free, the dead will be raised, the lepers will be cleansed. How much more will happen with My body and My blood in your mouth?”
I think most can attest that it was a powerful Seminar. I challenge you to encounter the Lord to the core of your being through Holy Communion. You’ll be catapulted from glory to glory!
